What file types are the texture collections composed of?

Seamlessly tileable texture collections are made up of maximum 2048x2048 resolution JPEG files, at the highest quality and lowest compression. Photographic texture collections are made up of 2272x1704 resolution JPEG files also at the highest quality and lowest compression. Normal maps are available as PNG textures for keeping the high quality. Bump and specular maps are JPEG files at the highest quality.

What can I use the textures for?

You can use the textures in your commercial or non-commercial projects.

You cannot use the textures for anything that directly competes with us. You cannot put the textures on your own website, sell them or give them away. This restriction includes the original textures as well as modifications.

Restrictions on use for the free sample textures?

The free sample textures are free for you to try in your favorite graphics program, and are royalty free when used in your artwork. However, you cannot redistribute, sell, give away or upload them to any website.

How are the textures delivered after the purchase?

You will get an email right after the payment has been received with instructions how can you download the textures. Additionally (some products only) if you have selected the Backup CD option in the order process a CD with the textures will be delivered to you by postal mail in a few days. Your CD will be produced and mailed within 24 hours after payment has been received. Shipment by mail can take 5 to 10 business days within the EU and the USA and 10 to 25 business days to other countries/regions.

Please note: Goods that are exported to countries outside of the EU and the USA can be subject to customs fees. The recipients of these goods are responsible for any applicable customs fees and taxes. For more information, please contact the customs authority in your country.
